Job Description
• Participate in on-site surveys together with the design team and be able to accurately read and interpret 2D/3D drawings.
• Supervise on-site Solar PV installation to ensure full compliance with engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and relevant standards, including monitoring installation quality according to company requirements.
• Manage and control materials, equipment, and on-site budget to ensure alignment with the BOQ and overall project plan.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams such as Project Management, Design, and Procurement to ensure installation progress aligns with schedule and project quality targets.
• Review and coordinate with relevant government authorities regarding permit applications, site inspections, and grid-connection procedures (MEA/PEA) in compliance with local Thai regulations.
• Oversee on-site safety and ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) requirements under Thai law and internal company standards.
• Prepare project progress updates including Weekly Reports, Test & Commissioning Reports, and As-built documentation following standard practices commonly used in Thailand, as well as planning installation schedules with the project team.
• Participate in Testing & Commissioning activities of the Solar PV system in collaboration with electrical engineers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and resolve technical issues on-site, such as installation modifications, troubleshooting, and managing site-related risks.
• Conduct post-mortem meetings upon project completion to evaluate project performance, identify challenges, and provide recommendations for future improvement.
Requirements:
• Thai nationality, aged 25–30 years, which is a commonly applied hiring range in the Thai job market.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or any related field relevant to solar system installation.
• Minimum 0–3 years of experience in Solar PV installation, construction site work, or electrical systems, aligning with Thailand’s general market requirements.
• Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other basic design software.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word, which is a standard requirement across Thai job listings.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in other provinces as required, such as Chonburi, Korat, or other project locations commonly found in Thai job scopes.
• Direct experience in Solar Rooftop or Solar Farm installation will be considered an added advantage.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license, which is a frequently stated requirement in Thai engineering job postings.
