Job Description
We are seeking experienced and proactive Erection Engineers / Project Engineers to manage and supervise complex structural steel erection activities at project sites. The ideal candidates will possess a strong technical background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with proven hands-on experience in executing large-scale steel erection works while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and supervise structural steel erection works in accordance with project specifications and Erection drawings.
• Coordinate with fabrication, design, QA/QC, and planning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review erection drawings, able to develop method statements, and lifting plans for accuracy and constructability.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, equipment utilization, and adherence to project schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and site regulations.
• Resolve site-related technical issues and interface challenges with other trades.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks during and after erection activities.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress and activity reports.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for site coordination and progress updates.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in handling complex structural steel erection works at project sites.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of structural steel erection techniques, sequencing, and tolerances.
• Familiarity with lifting operations, rigging methods, and crane coordination.
• Good knowledge of welding, bolting, and alignment procedures.
• Awareness of international codes and standards (AISC, AWS, BS, or EN).
• Experience with site documentation, inspection procedures, and QA/QC coordination.
