Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day processes of managing project planning, execution, and close. This role will provide support to Project Managers to ensure they are able to deliver project excellence to our customers.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform overall support functions and coordination of information for project managers to ensure project requirements are achieved.
Create Labor Partner Workbooks for projects.
Gather and provide project-based information both internally and externally.
Assist with Oracle, project setup, and document distribution within the extranet.
Assist with tasks related to project reconciliation and close.
Coordinate Voltage Survey.
Solve problems associated with project issues and manage customer concerns. Escalate and inform the project manager or manager, as needed.
Handle site communications via phone calls/emails before, during, and after projects
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Limited project execution-based decision-making abilities
Basic understanding of how to input date into EMC systems
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
Skilled in Excel used for tracking and analysis
Able to work well in a team environment as well as individually
Detail-orientated, high degree of accuracy and ability to multi-task
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
Analytical/problem solver
Ability to meet deadlines
Financial management aptitude
Customer/client-focused
Performance Metrics:
Customer call on time %
LP Paperwork distribution on time
Education:
Four-year degree preferred in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience.
Experience Preferred:
Project coordination for high volume and multi-unit project situations
Experience communicating with vendors and customers
1-3 years project coordination experience
Lighting, Electrical, and LED technical knowledge.
Retail operations
Physical Job Requirements and Working Conditions (include if applicable):
The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Support customers and partners during “off hours” and, therefore, are expected to be available for support on some weekends and evenings/nights, as needed.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
