OPPORTUNITY:
HEABC has a 16-month contract opportunity for a Project Coordinator within the IMIT team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator coordinates IMIT aspects of projects led within IMIT and from outside IMIT, including IMIT strategic projects. The Project Coordinator interacts with and supports a wide range of decision makers, including staff and leaders within IMIT, the Chief Information Officer, and others across HEABC through exceptional written and verbal communications skills and proactive service orientation. The Project Coordinator works with a high-performing team to address prominent challenges related to IMIT and business areas.
Responsibilities include:
Provide coordination and project management for initiatives aligned with the strategic priorities of HEABC and IMIT.
Apply project management best practices in alignment with the HEABC Project Management Office (PMO) to support detailed project plans, monitor progress, and provide status reports.
Proactively advances IMIT and business projects in accordance with work plan and timelines.
Liaises with the project team and interested parties to manage and handle day-to-day enquiries in a manner that promotes positive relations with interested parties.
Assumes responsibility for preparing for meetings, including formulating agendas, liaising with invited guests, and support preparing meeting materials well in advance of each meeting.
Required Experience:
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in information technology, commerce, business administration, or health administration with project management training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 3 years of recent, related experience working as a project coordinator.
Experience managing IT projects.
Knowledge of project management principles and proven ability to achieve deliverables on or before deadlines.
Ability to earn the confidence of internal and external interested parties with strong verbal presentation and writing skills as well as a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy.
Adaptability and flexibility to reprioritize as issues surface and new initiatives enter the portfolio.

Salary Range: $69,218 to $90,848
Typical Hiring Range: $69,218 to $86,522
In determining salary, HEABC considers many factors including the successful candidate’s skillset and experience as well as internal equity. The final salary offer will be at HEABC’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
