Project Coordinator - Architectural Metals

Flynn Canada Ltd is hiring a Project Coordinator! This position will be based out of our Halifax location, reporting to the Architectural Metals Manager.

A Day in the Life

· Work closely with Project Manager coordinating project schedules, materials, and equipment.

· Organize and coordinate submittals

· Review and monitor schedules and quality control

· Review all contracts and accepted quotations

· Write up purchase orders

· Prepare material order sheets and review quantity takeoffs

· Attend team meetings

· Assist production with preparing prices

What We Are Seeking

· Recent graduate of a Construction or Engineering & Technologies program or a related educational field, or have a minimum of 1 year work experience in a construction environment

· Proficiency in MS office package, including MS Project

· Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities

· Ability to multitask and work in a team environment

· Strong blueprint reading skills
