Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in the Nordics area we are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Controls Specialist to join our Data Centre team in Norway.

With a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.

In this role, will take ownership of cost, schedule, and risk management for this high-profile, mission-critical project. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic insights to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with governance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed cost and scheduling plans and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project scope and contractual requirements.
• Monitor and control project schedules throughout the lifecycle.
• Review and validate change orders, ensuring proper documentation, cost impact analysis, and compliance with governance protocols.
• Lead detailed project evaluations and scenario modelling
• Support procurement activities by analyzing bids, validating cost data, and ensuring commercial compliance.
• Perform Monte‑Carlo simulations and quantitative risk analysis.
• Maintain benchmarking data, historical cost records, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with schedule development and updates, ensuring cost and schedule data are integrated for accurate performance tracking.
• Monitor schedule progress against baseline, identify potential delays, and communicate impacts on cost and contingency planning.
• Provide regular status updates and executive-level presentations summarizing cost and schedule performance, risks, and recommended actions.
• Facilitate risk workshops and develop comprehensive risk registers
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements, including conducting audits and governance reviews.

• University Degree in an engineering or construction related field.
• Minimum 12 years’ work experience in construction / project controls, including experience in large scale Data Centre projects or similar critical project environments.
• Strong background in project controls, risk management, or financial modelling
• Experience with Monte‑Carlo tools and quantitative analysis
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of construction industry and Data Centre sector themes.
• Good knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process.
• A proactive, structured, and highly organised working style
• Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles at all levels.
• Availability for on-site work.
