Tri-City Group is currently seeking a Project Controls Manager for Port Washington, WI. The Project Controls Manager to lead cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and performance tracking across construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining project schedules, and providing critical insights into project health through KPIs, earned value analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage cost control, forecasting, projections, and earned value tracking
Support scheduling development, implementation, and progress tracking
Monitor project performance using KPIs and reporting tools
Lead project-level billing processes, including AIA and client requirements
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, documentation, and reporting standards
Develop and maintain project dashboards and reporting for leadership and clients
Collaborate with project teams to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Track and manage change orders, cost impacts, and schedule adjustments
Align budgets, cost codes, and schedules for accurate project tracking
Support cash flow monitoring and financial health of projects
Communicate regularly with project management on project status and performance
Assist in developing and improving project controls processes and standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
10+ years of experience in project controls, project management, or scheduling
Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, earned value management, and scheduling
Experience with construction reporting, billing processes, and contract compliance
Experience in mission-critical construction (data centers, industrial, etc.) (preferred)
Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to manage cost, schedule, and performance data across complex construction projects. They must be able to identify risks, track project progress, interpret financial and scheduling data, and communicate insights clearly to project teams and leadership while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
