About Your Role
Project Controls Earned Value Cost Schedulerfocuses on managing project schedules and costs using Earned Value Management (EVM) to ensure projects stay on track and within budget. It involves tracking performance, analyzing variances, forecasting outcomes, and providing insights to support decision-making. The position works closely with project teams and requires strong analytical skills and experience with scheduling and cost control tools.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
8+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, and cost management
Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management on large capital projects
Proficiency in Primavera P6 required
Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting, and scheduling methodologies
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
What Will Make You Stand Out
Experience supporting projects valued at $25 million or greater
Experience in aviation, transportation, or public works programs
Familiarity with PMWeb, e-Builder, or similar systems
Professional certifications such as PMI-SP, PSP, or EVP
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and or Microsoft Project
Implement and manage Earned Value Management systems for project performance tracking
Monitor and analyze cost and schedule performance including CPI, SPI, and variance reporting
Develop cost-loaded schedules and integrate cost controls with scheduling activities
Identify project risks and provide schedule recovery and mitigation strategies
Review contractor schedules for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project requirements
Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and performance updates to project stakeholders
Track project progress against baseline schedules and budgets
Support forecasting efforts and provide recommendations based on data analysis
Maintain project controls documentation and ensure compliance with client standards
Participate in project meetings and provide data-driven insights to support decision making
