About the job:
As part of our expanding operations in large-scale infrastructure projects, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Controller to join our team. Based in the Attica Region or Northern Greece, this role is essential to ensure effective project cost control, budget tracking, and financial reporting throughout the lifecycle of our construction and waste management activities.
Role Overview:
The Project Controller will be responsible for monitoring project performance, providing accurate cost and progress reporting, supporting forecasting, and ensuring adherence to financial and contractual obligations. Working closely with Project Management, Procurement, and Finance teams, the role ensures that f inancial insights directly support the timely and efficient execution of works.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts across multiple sites.
• Prepare and maintain detailed cost control reports, cash flow analysis, and variance analysis.
• Track project KPIs (cost, schedule, progress) and support early identification of deviations.
•Assist in the development of project budgets during the planning phase and support cost estimations.
• Ensure that project costs are aligned with contractual requirements and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and technical departments for material and service cost tracking.
• Support invoice verification and approval workflow in coordination with the Finance Department.
• Contribute to risk analysis and mitigation planning by providing financial insights.
• Assist in internal and external audits by ensuring financial data integrity and documentation accuracy.
• Support reporting to senior management and stakeholders by preparing periodic project dashboards.
• Prepare Installment and Variations requests in alignment with project progress and contractual terms.
Requirements Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in project cost control, project accounting, or financial monitoring in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with large-scale or multi-site projects will be considered a strong asset. Academic Background & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Project Management, Finance, or relevant certification is a plus. Languages & Technical Capabilities
• Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken).
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Entersoft or similar).
• Familiarity with project controls software or tools, such as MS Project, is desirable.
