Job Responsibilities:
• Candidate needs to work with internal business partners to understand business requirements, build a prototype dashboard product utilizing Microstrategy 9.4.1 Visual Insights, and work with Amex technologies to turn prototype dashboard into an automated production level product for internal users base.
• Enable the technical delivery of a set of projects.
• Responsible for the design, build, test and implementation phases, as well as ensuring adherence to technical standards.
• Ensures the quality of deliverables in terms of supporting requirements analysis and the technical architecture.
• Works with architecture experts to ensure solutions support the business and IT strategic plan.
• Typically holds a Bachelor’s or Master’ s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or has equivalent work experience).
• Typically has prior experience in multiple IT disciplines and BI tools (e.g. Microstrategy, Tableau).
• Has the ability to work with business partners and articulate technical trends/concepts and design/implementation considerations.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross functional teams, business partners and/or vendor partners, and technology leaders.
• Ensures quality in terms of the technical delivery and is accountable for the performance and efficiency of solutions.
• Works primarily with Lead Project Managers, Business partners, Business Analysts, Architects and/or Vendor partners. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation and communication skills, Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, Creative approach to solving technical and/or customer related issues
