About You
As a Programme Lead, you will provide academic and strategic leadership, ensuring the programme delivers excellence in teaching, maintains strong industry partnerships, and achieves outstanding student outcomes, particularly at our Auckland campuses.
You will have expertise and the aptitude to lead curriculum delivery and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with industry needs and the programme's specialisations (AI, Data Analytics, Network Engineering, Cyber Security, Software and Web Development)
You will be an inspiring leader and educator, capable of managing lecturing faculty, driving curriculum development, and maintaining industry partnerships. You will have an understanding of and the capability to drive programme management, academic quality assurance, and student support within business and tertiary education contexts. Your approach will be collaborative, working effectively with diverse stakeholders across academic and industry groups while ensuring teaching excellence and maintaining academic standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Postgraduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience in tertiary teaching within computing or technology disciplines
Prior programme/curriculum development and co-ordination experience.
Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies across the programme's specialisations: AI/Machine Learning, Data Analytics and or Cyber Security
Comprehensive understanding of higher education quality frameworks and processes
Experience with work-integrated learning models and industry partnership development
