We are looking for a Program Manager, Outreach Services to join our team!
The Program Manager will support the organization in the day-to-day operations and clinical delivery of core services offered by a multidisciplinary team. This may include mental health, addiction, nursing, peer support, counselling, and psychotherapy services. The Program Manager will also work as part of the leadership team to develop and implement strategic organizational goals that fulfill the vision and mission of the organization.
Status: Contract full-time until June 2026, 37.5 hours per week, evening hours and weekends may be required; Note, this posting is for a future anticipated vacancy
Salary: $93,132.41 - $109,567.54 annually. (Candidate qualifications will be considered when determining the starting salary)
Location: This position is based out of our 60 West Drive Brampton, office. Although we operate within a hybrid workplace model, staff are required to have on-site and/or community presence as per program and client needs.
What You Will Do:
Manage day to day operations and leadership to a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of clinical staff responsible for the delivery of coordinated programs and services to clients and their families.
Ensure fidelity of a stepped care model and MDT work to provide effective and efficient delivery of services.
Work with the Director to set program goals using a Balanced Scorecard of priorities and targets and deliver on priorities in consultation with the team, community partners and other CMHA Peel Dufferin services.
Use clinical judgement and expertise to navigate clinical matters and ensure optimal client care and provider experience.
Advance clinical and administrative quality of programs by tracking service quality indicators and targets.
Provide direct clinical supervision to staff. Observe staff with clients and conduct regular audits, supervision, and support professional development.
Support the development of operational budgets including financial and human resource requirements.
Monitor assigned budgets and expenditures in accordance with organizational financial policies.
Manage recruitment, orientation, coaching, mentoring, performance management, learning and development for staff and students.
Participate in overall CMHA Peel Dufferin strategic and business planning, implementation, delivery and evaluation.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners.
Represent CMHA Peel Dufferin by participating on special projects, task forces, and working groups.

What You Need to Join Our Team:
Bachelors’ Degree in health, social services or related discipline such as counselling and psychotherapy, social work or nursing; Masters’ degree is an asset.
Registered Health Professional with a College or Association is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience within the community mental health field
Minimum of 3 years of formal or informal leadership experience, including supervising a multidisciplinary team, program development and day to day operations.
Knowledge of mental health legislation, serious mental illness, concurrent disorders and/or dual diagnosis and recovery-based philosophy and practices.
Supervisory skills, including the ability to mentor, coach and inspire staff.
Strong clinical skills and working knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and other Brief Therapies
Demonstrated knowledge of community resources and the mental health field
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to approach, listen, build trust, and communicate across diverse cultures and intersectionality. Willingness to continually improve understanding around cultural competence.
Openness to operate from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, 2SLGBTQ+ affirming and intersectional framework.
Willingness to learn and apply practical understanding of different elements of diversity, such as gender identity/expression, race/cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, disability, immigration and precarious status, family status, etc.
Fluency in a second language, including ASL (American Sign Language) is considered an asset.
Valid Canadian driver’s license and access to an insured automobile in good repair.
A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening (Police Check) report.
