Program Lead – Technology & Innovation

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Program Lead (PL) to join our client’s Technology & Innovation team. This role is instrumental in increasing the efficiency and impact of the department by managing diverse programs, driving operational excellence, and fostering collaboration across global, cross-functional teams.

As the operational backbone of the department, you will manage the project lifecycle for all product initiatives. You will act as a key partner to leadership, translating high-level strategic goals into actionable deliverables that teams can execute with confidence.

 

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, risks, and critical decisions.

• Coordinate between various internal departments, including Product Lines, Quality (VQM/DQM), and the Global Design PMO across Sweden and China.

• Align international stakeholders around clear goals, deliverables, and success metrics.

• Proactively identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to keep projects unblocked.

Delivery Management

• Manage incoming requests and ensure all delivery dates remain on track.

• Build and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones.

• Secure necessary technical input and ensure cross-functional alignment.

Strategic Expansion

• Drive special projects and innovations by connecting with external organizations, including Marketing, Merchandise, Intelligent Drive, and HMI.

Process & Control

• Partner with working-level stakeholders to refine processes and increase collaboration efficiency.

• Monitor budget shifts, scope changes, and evolving vehicle timelines.

• Track progress to ensure high-quality delivery on schedule; document and share program updates and roadmaps.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 5+ years in Program Management, Project Management, Design Operations, or a similar role, preferably within digital product development.

• Track Record: Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from concept to launch.

• Tools: Expertise in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Excel).

• Communication: Exceptional written/verbal communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence without direct authority.

• Adaptability: Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid change.

 

Preferred Assets:

• Experience in automotive, software, consumer tech, or innovation environments.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.

• Experience with headcount and capacity planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Mandarin language skills are a significant advantage for global coordination.
