Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that helps communities recover after disasters and gets children back in school. This position is temporary and is responsible for overall management and strategic development of the program to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the projects. The assignment is expected to last six weeks. Start date is April 20th.

Essential Functions
Responsible for the successful operation and completion of the program as a whole
Effectively onboard and manage a diverse staff team to meet the needs of the affected community and empower them to carry out their functions effectively and efficiently
Supporting the operations and project teams to deliver their specific operational and project targets within the approved time and budget constraints
Responsible for making sure All Hands and Hearts and program rules are adhered to and carrying out disciplinary procedures if needed
Develop, implement, and regularly review program emergency procedures and safety and security protocols
Financial responsibilities include operating budget for the program
Oversees the delivery of weekly and monthly reporting for all aspects of the program
Ensure all program tracking systems are updated regularly and maintained
Work with local partners to foster collaboration
Ensure compliance with legal requirements for the program
Ensure the overall budget and timeline compliance of the program
Develop an overall budget for the program, including financial forecasting
Reconcile operational and project budgets to meet approved overall program budgets
Engage the community by building and maintaining relationships between the community, staff and volunteers. Involve the community in decisions and provide culturally sensitive support as needed
Manage communication with neighboring communities to ensure cohesion
Maintain base operations, including food purchases
Supporting volunteer coordination
Assisting with procurement and receipt of materials for the school campus work
Perform other duties as required
Position Requirements
Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Related Experience 1+ years of experience working in a disaster relief organization, preferably with All Hands and Hearts, experience in a role with project management responsibilities, including budget tracking and reporting. Experience managing volunteer powered programs.
Special Competencies/Certifications Valid driver’s license required. Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets; and Microsoft Office. Applicants need to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. Outstanding leadership and delegation skills with the ability to manage a large workload while performing in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Starting salary is $23.00-$24.00 per hour, and up to $25.00 per hour for highly qualified candidates who have previous experience in this role.
