Your Responsibilities:
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty in Iserlohn on a part-time basis starting 01.09.2026, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

In this exciting role, you'll deliver engaging and practical modules, leverage your expertise to create real-world connections, and foster an inclusive learning experience that values diverse and creative problem-solving.
You’ll play an instrumental role in delivering high-quality, future-oriented education, empowering students to develop the skills and mindset needed to thrive in a globalized and rapidly evolving world. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on the academic journey of your students and support the continued growth of both the university and its vibrant international community.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
• Conducting introductory and advanced courses in the areas of Business Administration, Taxes, and Law
• Planning and implementing interdisciplinary research and development projects including publication activities in the field of business administration
• Advising and supervising students to help them achieve their goals
• Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, and bachelor/master theses ensuring high academic and didactic standards
• Establishing industry collaborations and partnerships to further grow the network of the University
• Participate in university administration and committee work, actively supporting the success of UE
• Contributing to the conceptual design of new study programmes and the continuous development of existing curricula
• Advising prospective students and contributing to UE’s outreach activities
Your profile:
• Experience in teaching the basics of Business Administration, Taxes and Law. Experience in teaching advanced versions of these course is an advantage
• National and international work experience
• Ability to teach courses in English language
• Ability to teach courses in German language is an advantage
• ·Publication and research activity is a strong asset
• Commitment to applied research, student engagement, and curriculum innovation
• Strong ability to communicate and work in a team
Requirements for professorship:
• University studies completed with a Master’s degree or equivalent in the field of the professorship
• Proof of exceptional aptitude for scientific work, usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate and/or scientific publications
• At least three years of qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, with two years outside of a university

The hiring requirements for professorship are based on the provisions of §43 of the university law of the Federal State of Brandenburg/Germany. The award of the title Professor by the University of Europe for Applied Sciences is contingent on the approval of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture of the Federal State of Brandenburg/Germany.
