Professional Lifeguard (Full Time)

 This role sits in the Council’s Community Group, which comprises of community focused services such as Hamilton Pool, Parks and Recreation, Hamilton City Libraries and the city’s three main visitor attractions.

He angituutanga: The opportunity 

Waterworld Te Rapa is our flagship aquatics centre and it offers something for everyone. With six pools including toddler and outdoor pools, hydroslides, a full-service gym, land and water-based exercise classes, learn to swim classes and more.

Our lifeguards ensure everyone visiting Hamilton Pools is safe in the water and having a great time, they provide education around risk prevention along with a bit of cleaning, EASY. This is a full-time position and you need to be available to work Sunday - Thursday

We welcome individuals from all walks of life. If you are a confident swimmer and enjoy working with people, we will provide the necessary training!

Qualifications you will obtain:

• First Aid Level 2 Certificate
• Pool Life Saving Practicing Certificate (PLPC)
