About The Role
As PolyNovo's Production Technician in the Manufacturing Team, you’ll play a hands‑on role in bringing innovative medical devices and prototypes to life. You’ll work within our cleanroom facility, ensuring every item meets the highest standards of quality and precision while keeping production on schedule. Collaborating closely with teams across the business, you’ll help drive seamless, efficient, and reliable product manufacturing from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for the Company’s commercial and prototype production in a cleanroom environment
Collaborate with the production team to adhere to production schedules and delivery timelines for finished goods
Follow Quality System and design files throughout the manufacturing process
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in all areas of manufacturing
Adhere to and enforce the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) protocols within the production area
Organise and set up packing materials required for finished goods
Efficiently pack finished goods according to standard operating procedures
Monitor equipment calibration due dates and maintain compliance with specifications
Conduct in-process monitoring of processes and products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Maintain the cleanroom environment ensuring waste removal and optimal facility conditions
Perform equipment repairs and cleaning as necessary
Complete assigned duties within a timely manner
Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements
Use of trolleys to transfer production equipment and materials between warehouses and work areas
Adhere to safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
Propose process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
Contribute to waste management initiatives
Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
Update or review manufacturing related documents within the Quality Management System as required
Actively participate in data entry related to various manufacturing actions (logs, registers, non-conformances, change controls, date change requests and CAPAs) as required
Experience:
Production experience with polymers, mixing, handling hot solutions, electrical and gas safety precautions
Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment is preferred
Experience and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Experience and understanding of safe chemical handling procedures
High level of experience working autonomously and within a small team environment
Skills / Competencies:
Understanding of safe work environments and hazard reporting
High level of proactive problem-solving skills
Demonstrated excellence in reporting, documentation and organisation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
Effective interpersonal skills across various organisational levels
