Production Technician - Contents

Servpro is hiring a Contents Restoration Technician at our Naperville location! 

In this position, you will be making a difference each and every day. We are committed to making every type of property damage “Like it never even happened®!”

Key Responsibilities

Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.  

Perform production processes following Servpro production guidelines per work order and/or Crew Chief instructions, as it pertain to Contents

Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes. 

Pack out and remove contents for restoration and storage.

Perform production processes as directed.  

Communicate effectively with internal team

Notify the Crew Chief of customer needs and concerns

Assist in completing production daily logs (schedule A’s, DASH notes)

Complete appropriate restoration documentation

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle with appropriate tools and materials for scheduled production activities

Perform basic vehicle maintenance

Attend safety training, and follow risk management guidelines on the jobsite, in the office, and while traveling.

Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance

 Position Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

Oral Communication – Speaks clearly. Shows respect when addressing customers and superiors. 

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
