ABOUT CANARY SYSTEMS

Our work spans underground and surface mines, earth and concrete dams, bridges, tunnels, and buildings — serving markets that include construction, mining, geotechnical, industrial, and public infrastructure.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a driven and organized Production Team Lead to own the day-to-day operations of our electronic product production floor and warehouse. This role is central to keeping our inventory accurate, our shipments on time, and our shop running smoothly — while supporting both our on-site and remote teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and production floor
Create, manage, and track Purchase Orders and Sales Orders
Oversee inventory of production supplies, ensuring accurate counts and stock control
Receive incoming shipments and adjust storage areas as needed
Ensure all shipping activities comply with legal requirements, company guidelines, and customer specifications
Manage shipping documentation, including pick-up slips, ship lists, and delivery records
Resolve shipping-related issues promptly and effectively
Coordinate vendor pick-ups and drop-offs
Monitor manufacturing tasks to ensure shipping deadlines and targets are met
Coordinate with engineering as needed to keep BOM’s, assembly procedures, drawings and schematics up-to-date.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and stand on concrete for up to 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
Ability to work scheduled shifts
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
At least 1 year of experience in domestic and international shipping
Knowledge of electronic components and general electronic assembly techniques
Strong computer skills; proficiency with order management or inventory systems a plus
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy in orders and documentation
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
