As part of the Fever Originals team, you will use data and insights to create one-of-a-kind events and experiences that allow people to have unforgettable moments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and critical-thinking Production Team Lead who will lead the production of our largest and most exciting experiences and manage a team of Producers. This role requires flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while staying within budget. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the production of live events, permanent attractions and/or immersive experiences. The Senior Producer will research and implement new production formats, technologies, and solutions that could enhance Fever’s experiences, as well as play a pivotal role in shaping our event strategy.

Candidates should be passionate about delivering results and producing fun and entertaining experiences for all walks of the public. Strong communication skills are critical to success in this role. The right candidate will be a self-starter and have strong interpersonal and project management skills. Employees are expected to be in the Berlin’s office Monday to Thursday with the possibility to work from home on Fridays.

You will:

• Manage multiple productions and help scale various Fever Original IPs against team targets

• Manage all aspects of productions, including pre-production logistics planning, vendor sourcing and contracting, hiring, onsite execution, as well as post-event wrap-up

• Conduct technical site assessments and evaluate venue readiness, feasibility and identify potential risks for immersive installations

• Develop and manage production budgets, optimizing resources to achieve goals, identifying revenue generating opportunities and cost-saving measures

• Manage a team of producers, providing guidance and support and oversee recruitment of production roles

• Source and manage freelancers, vendors and service providers and ensure delivery of quality services as per company standards for infrastructure work, architects, safety auditors, general contractors, AV, local set fabrication and installation, machinery requirements, site equipment purchasing, etc.

• Coordinate bids, negotiate schedules, oversee deliveries, and manage onsite installation teams

• Supervise onsite works to ensure quality, timing, and safety

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to acquire necessary permits

• Create production timelines and ensure that teams are keeping to schedule

• Point out any inconsistencies between the creative concepts and the technical rider and/or constraints within the venue

• Act as liaison between the Creative studios and on-site teams for installation and technical execution

• Communicate and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, departments, and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of event deliverables

• Develop and maintain technical documentation: equipment lists, signal flows, floor plans, power plans, risk assessments, installation schedules

• Maintain an up-to-date directory of freelancers and service providers and an active personal network of contacts within the industry; research new vendors, technologies, experiences

• Work with the Project Management team to ensure client expectations and standards are met

• Domestic and international travel and work across time zones may be required

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a successful track record of production management of live events, immersive experiences, and/or permanent attractions with strong oral and written communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on your flexible, detailed, analytical mindset.

Candidates need to be passionate about the entertainment industry. You will have to be comfortable delivering results in an ambiguous environment, being exceptionally detail-oriented while looking around corners, and thinking bigger about how we create a compelling experience.

• 8+ years of experience in live event and/or experiences production industry

• Demonstrated clear accountability for end-to-end production delivery in previous roles

• Experience in people management experience

• Professional fluency in German and English. Other languages are a plus.

• Experience overseeing construction or fit-outs for theatres, theme parks, LBEs, family entertainment venues, or comparable projects involving multiple external vendors and contractors is a strong plus

• Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and pull together multiple aspects of an event in an organized and efficient way in a fast-paced environment

• Proven experience in vendor negotiations, in managing production budgets and productions issues such as permitting, rules and regulations

• Understanding of fabrication processes

• Have a strong network of vendors and venues

• Curious, with an appetite for learning, keen to push boundaries and try new concepts, and the ability to pick up new skills quickly

• Able to communicate with various stakeholders, working collaboratively and willing to be hands-on

• You'll be solution-focused, identifying problem areas and then creating plans to find resolutions

Our hiring process

• A 30 min video call with one of our Talent Acquisition Managers, to better understand your career plan, assess cultural fit, and answer any questions you may have

• A 60 min online test with three topics: logic, analytics, and written understanding

• A 45 min video call with your future manager, including questions about your profile and a business case presentation (to be prepared in advance)

On average our process lasts 20 working days and offers usually follow within a week.
