POSITION SUMMARY
As a Team Lead at New Flyer, you will take on a pivotal role in supervising and guiding a dedicated team within the production environment. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality. This position is Monday through Friday; 6:30am - 3pm. Rate of pay is $35.75 per hour.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Lead and supervise daily activities of the team to meet production targets.
• Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Implement best practices and company policies to enhance workflow and productivity.
• Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to improve skill sets.
• Monitor production processes, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
• Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production and labor data.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• Proven and consistent experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
