The Production Support Laboratory Assistant will perform tasks associated with supporting the manufacture of modified oligonucleotides in a high-paced environment.  The Production Support Laboratory Assistant can be called on to work in any production support shift in the Oligo & Chemical Productions observing ISO 9001 & 13485 regulations as well as GMP practices.  This is an entry level role.  
Shift 6a.m. -2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. 
• Performs all assigned job functions per documented procedures as directed by a supervisor.
• Responsible for the replenishment of materials throughout multiple areas.
• Responsible for the disposal of hazardous waste throughout multiple areas.
• Responsible for the cleaning of glassware and other laboratory equipment & spaces.
• Responsible for the archiving of small scale processed oligos.
• Performs monthly, quarterly & semi-annual preventative maintenance on Liquid Handling instruments.
• Preparing instruments to be used in daily production. (Such as: Instrument flushes & calibrations, water carboy filling, refilling bottled reagents, autoclaving)
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with colleagues and cross-functional teams, including EHS, Facilities, Procurement, Production, Material Handling, and Operations
• Stocking inventory to their assigned locations using manual and barcode scanning methods.
• Utilization of inventory tracking systems and reviewing levels of supplies.
• High School Diploma required or equivalent with 2+ years of work experience.
• Self-motivated with the ability to function as a team player.
• Must possess the ability to manage time effectively.
• Must possess the ability to follow detailed directions without difficulty.
• Must be able to work without close supervision.
• Able to multi-task work in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $ 18.00/Hourly
Maximum: $ 33.05/Hourly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the California -based position.  The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, skills, and location.
