As a Production Support Engineer, you will be a part of our rapidly growing IT department. You will actively collaborate with other teams and work in the production environment support, for financial applications.
Responsibilities
Monitor and support the production environment, with a focus on critical systems such as payment services, client interfaces, and trading platforms
Participate in incident management, including handling P1/P2 incidents, escalation, and coordination with internal teams
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to post-incident reviews
Investigate and resolve production issues across multiple services and environments
Report bugs and issues to development teams and resolve support tickets when possible
Configure systems, fix operational issues, and perform data and performance analysis
Work with monitoring, logs, and alerts to proactively detect and diagnose problems
Automate routine operational tasks and improve support processes
Collaborate with product, development, payments, and external vendors when required
Communicate technical issues clearly, including business impact and status updates
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a Production Support / Technical Support / Site Reliability
Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience using MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including:
data validation and investigations
performance and incident-related queries
basic understanding of locks, slow queries, and replication
Experience working with monitoring and observability tools, such as:
Grafana (dashboards, alerts)
log aggregation systems (e.g. Graylog, Kibana, Elasticsearch)
Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, Node.js) a plus
General understanding of CI/CD processes and containerized environments (Docker)
Experience supporting high-availability, production-critical systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms

Participation in on-call rotations or 24/5–24/7 support environments
Awareness of security, data protection, and compliance requirements in fintech
