About the Job

The Production Planning Lead is responsible for leading a team in performing tasks involved in the counting, storing and of products and materials for Connected Cannabis Distribution.

What You Will Do

• Verifies production paperwork for each production batch

• Completes productions assemblies each day

• Transfers inventory to Wholesale & Retail menus

• Shelves FGI, Maintains Organized Distro aisles

• Perform weekly or biweekly inventory/cycle counts

• Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, and repetitive movements

• Cross trained to back up Supply Chain Lead on 3P assemblies

• Cross trained to back up Compliance Testing & Inventory

• Monitor expired product and identifying stagnant inventory

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Periodic audits of product labels, pricing, transfers, reconciliations, etc.

• Maintain equipment in good working condition

• Meet established goals as designated by the Manager, Inventory Management

• Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supports Inventory Management Supervisor by communicating and delegating tasks to employees

• Upholds compliance and regulatory requirements at all times; maintains the reputation of Connected

• Ensures product inventory is accurately counted and recorded

• Protects employees and customers by providing and safe and clean store environment

• Assigns workers to specific job functions

• Other duties may be assigned

What We Are Looking For

• High school degree or equivalent required

• Must be 21+ years of age

• 2-3 years of inventory experience

• Experience in the cannabis industry highly preferred

• Excellent computer and mathematics skills, as well as data analysis; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required

• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills

• Experienced relationship with internal team and external partners

• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements

• Comfortable learning new technologies

• Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to recommend to management well thought out recommendations

• Excellent attention to detail

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Calm under pressure

• Ability to work independently with little supervision

• Strongly committed to providing high quality products to clients including the packing and presentation of the products

• Safety and compliance focused

• Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance

• Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift

• Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment

• Requires normal hearing range
