Production Planner

DEMO SA, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, is currently looking for a high-performing Production Planner to join our Planning team. The main purpose of this role is to support the demand planning and forecasting process implementation in order to actively support our business growth. This position is based in Athens (Kryoneri) and reports directly to the Planning Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares the short and long term production and capacity plan of the factory, according to the requirements of the customers, plus the given machine and manning resources, focused on achieving the desired service level
• Plans and controls the purchasing of goods and materials according to production plan in collaboration with procurement department, ensuring availability of materials and respecting inventory policies
• Develops and delivers the forecast demand by reviewing historical sales trends, applying demand data and evaluates forecast results
• Reviews and summarizes demand and supply plans, issues, recommendations and commitments on a regular basis
• Implement and monitor the progress of the Corrective and Preventive Action Plan resulting from findings/observations of either Internal Audits and/or Audits from customers/ organizations/authorities
• Collaborates with internal teams – sales, procurement and production, as required

Requirements:
• BSc Degree in Business Administration or Life Sciences, combined with a MSc Degree in relevant field will be considered an asset.
• Previous Experience at least 3 years in production planning, in Pharmaceutical or Food Industry
• Computer literacy, plus SAP knowledge is mandatory
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Fluent oral and written skills in Greek & in English
• Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously under various deadlines
