Production Manager – Electronics Assembly (Aerospace & Defense)

Logan Township, NJ | Onsite

$70K–$85K + Bonus

Long-standing and highly respected aerospace & defense electronics company, is seeking a Production Manager to lead its assembly operations. This role oversees day-to-day production, supervises assembly teams, and ensures quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery of high-reliability electronic products.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and support 40+ assemblers through multiple supervisors

Oversee electronics and cable assembly operations

Manage production schedules, workflow, and output

Ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are met

Work closely with purchasing, maintenance, and leadership

Use SAP for production tracking and reporting

What They’re Looking For:

3–5+ years in production or operations leadership

Experience in electronics or assembly environments

Strong people management and communication skills

Comfortable working hands-on in a production setting

SAP experience strongly preferred

Required Experience:

Electronics or cable assembly background

Aerospace or defense industry exposure

Experience with high-mix / low-to-mid volume production

Familiarity with SAP and production reporting

Experience managing long-tenured teams
