Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
Schedule: 40-45 hours per week, includes evenings/weekends during performances

Barrington Stage Company, an award-winning professional theatre company located in the heart of the Berkshires, is seeking a Production Assistant to join our Production Management team in Pittsfield, MA.

JOB OVERVIEW
The Production Assistant (PA) provides essential administrative and clerical support to the Production Management team. This role is primarily office-based and focuses on maintaining the organization, documentation, and communication flow necessary to keep the production department running efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
Prepare and print scripts, technical drawings, and other necessary documents for creative teams and shop heads.
Organize weekly production meetings, send calendar invites, and manage video meeting links.
Attend production meetings to take and distribute detailed notes to directors, designers, and staff.
Maintain an inventory of and order all necessary office and first aid supplies.
Collect employee time sheets each week and organize them for the Director of Production’s approval.
Work with the Accounting Department to facilitate petty cash checks, designer fee checks, and reimbursement requests.
Help maintain updated inventory lists of all equipment, props, and scenic elements.
Assist in the distribution of updated contact sheets, tech schedules, and production paperwork.
Help maintain open lines of communication between production management and the various shop departments.
Help to manage requests for Cabarets and the Education department
Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to respond to changing circumstances quickly and with a positive attitude.
A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are recommended.
