Your role is to ensure every system is built correctly, sealed properly, and meets performance standards. You prevent problems before they leave the shop. Your attention to detail reduces rework, callbacks, and warranty issues.

What You Bring to the Table
Technical Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience in glazing, aluminum system assembly, or related building envelope trade
Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings, elevations, and assembly details
Demonstrated ability to identify defects, misalignments, and installation errors before final completion
Experience working in a production or shop environment with quality and output expectations
Ability to communicate clearly with team members to correct issues and maintain standards
Attributes

Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the hands-on assembly and glazing of aluminum systems, setting the standard for quality, accuracy, and pace on the production floor
Complete first-off and final inspections to ensure all units meet shop drawings, specifications, and company quality standards before shipping
Review assemblies against shop drawings and hardware requirements, ensuring all components are properly installed and aligned
Identify and correct issues early, preventing defects and rework from moving through production
Provide hands-on support and coaching to team members, reinforcing proper techniques and quality expectations
Track recurring issues and contribute to improving processes, consistency, and overall production quality
Maintain quality checklists and basic documentation to support accountability and performance
Work closely with production and project teams to ensure output aligns with job requirements and timelines
