Production Coordinator, Podcast Brand Studio (Temporary)

WHO WE ARE

The Podcast Brand Studio handles the production of advertisements running across the 35+ shows on Vox Media Podcast Network, including host reads, produced reads and custom content. We work closely with sales and editorial teams to connect brands to a network of over 40M+ monthly listeners.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Podcast Brand Studio is looking for a temporary Production Coordinator to support the Brand Studio Production team. The Production Coordinator will report to the Production Manager, Brand Studio. This role operates primarily within the Host & Produced Reads workstream, which encompasses all daily ad production across the whole of VMPN.

The ideal candidate for this role is an organized, skilled communicator with 1-3 years of experience in production, project management, or a similar field, has a strong interest in content production or advertising, and will perform the following job functions:

• Manage Host & Produced reads workflow, working closely with VMPN teams, account strategists, creative producers, VO artists, Ad Operations, and audio engineers to ensure that all ads move through production seamlessly and no elements are missing, from assignment to launch.

• Lead internal meetings with the Brand Studio Host & Produced read teams, walking through active campaigns and troubleshooting any questions or concerns.

• When necessary, create and maintain timelines for host and produced read campaigns, communicating deadlines with account strategists and creative producers.

• Responsible for tracking VO artist assignments, drafting contracts, and setting up payment to ensure that all artists are compensated for their work in a timely manner.

• General creation and organization of trackers, resource documents, process decks, training materials, etc.

• Provide general or in-office support for custom content campaigns, where bandwidth allows.

• Must be proficient in Google Drive, Slack

• Basic understanding of Asana, Airtable and Megaphone (or similar platforms).

This is a temporary role. The dates we anticipate needing are currently from 5/1/26 to 7/31/2026. Candidates for this role will need to be available to work within this time frame. Preference is for candidates who can work from the NY office several days a week.

This job is based in New York, NY. We require employees in-office 3 days a week.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
