Production Coordinator

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Supervise and lead a team of production operators, machine operators, and laborers in the manufacturing process.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure that production targets and deadlines are met.
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff, ensuring they are well-trained in production processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Monitor employee performance and conduct performance evaluations, addressing any issues related to productivity, safety, or quality.
• Oversee and ensure the efficient operation of the production line, ensuring that products are manufactured according to specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate production schedules, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

EHS:

• Quality Control and Process Management: The Production Supervisor is accountable for implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System within production operations. This includes overseeing daily production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting regular inspections, and facilitating corrective actions for any identified non-conformities to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Environmental Compliance and Resource Management: In alignment with ISO 14001, the Production Supervisor is responsible for monitoring environmental impacts associated with production processes. This involves ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, minimizing waste generation, and promoting sustainable practices such as recycling and efficient resource utilization to reduce the overall environmental footprint of manufacturing operations.
• Health and Safety Oversight: Under ISO 45001, the Production Supervisor is tasked with maintaining a safe working environment for all production staff. This includes conducting regular safety audits, ensuring that safety protocols are followed during operations, providing training on health and safety practices, and fostering a culture of safety awareness to prevent workplace incidents and promote employee well-being.

Requirements

• A degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in the Construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent in Microsoft Office.

Special requirements

• Undertake such additional duties which may from time to time be required.                     
• Work overtime when needed in after Working time or weekend.
