Our Milpitas, CA Lab is looking for a detail-oriented Production Control coordinator to work between clients, the Production Control department and our team of scientists to reliably deliver timely client data.  The Production Control coordinator will be responsible for proactively meeting the administrative support needs of the Engineering team & their clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Log and track receipt and shipment of all samples.
• Create and manage daily production.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics.
• Quickly identify and resolve production bottlenecks or delays.
• Label and store samples in accordance with documented procedures.
• Support multiple departments and sites in a multi-functional fast-paced environment.
• May perform courier duties as necessary to support lab and client needs.

Schedule: Sundays to Thursdays, 3pm-12am

This role is located in Milpitas, CA. While we are unable to provide relocation assistance, we encourage local candidates to apply.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of inventory and materials management.
• Understanding of lead times, capacity, and resource allocation.
• Work independently under time constraints and ability to handle a multitude of tasks efficiently.
• Integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google docs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Able to read in Chinese a plus.

Compensation is aligned with market standards for the region and tailored to individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to lift to 10 lbs.
• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment. 
• Ability to use a telephone, access file cabinets, receive and ship customer products
• Ability to sit for periods of time
• Ability to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
