About the Role
Our client is a technology-driven company delivering innovative hardware and software solutions for professional training environments. They are looking for a Product Trainer & Technical Support professional to support customers across Germany through on-site installations, hands-on trainings, and first-level technical support.
Core Responsibilities
• Perform on-site product installations and deliver in-person product trainings at customer locations.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions and workshops for groups of 5–10 participants.
• Provide 1st-level customer support, including basic troubleshooting, licensing, and configuration.
• Deliver virtual trainings, webinars, and remote support when required.
• Act as a trusted technical contact, maintaining strong long-term customer relationships.
• Travel extensively across Germany.
• Visit the office for repairs or technical interventions when needed.
• Support the company at trade fairs and industry events.
• Document installations, issues, and resolutions accurately.
Requirements:
Experience & Profile
• 2–5 years of experience in product training, technical support, or a similar client-facing technical role.
• Comfortable leading on-site trainings, workshops, and presentations.
• Strong communication skills – the ability to explain technical concepts clearly is more important than deep technical expertise.
• Affinity for technical problem-solving and hands-on work.
• Motivation to learn – full product training will be provided.
• Well-organized, reliable, and self-sufficient.
• Flexible mindset and willingness to travel.
• Languages: Native German, very good English.
Nice to Have (not mandatory)
• Background in VR / AR technologies.
• Linux experience.
• Programming or general IT / tech background.
• Experience working with hardware installations or technical training environments.
