About the Area

At Advisory GTB we provide transactional banking solutions to our CIB clients through an exhaustive analysis of client data, their sector, the competition, the regulatory environment and market trends. Additionally, we accompany clients in their transition towards sustainability, innovating through sustainable transactional products. We are a strategic area within GTB, supporting bankers and product specialists by providing market intelligence, innovation and tailored solutions for clients.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who will lead the Advisory GTB team in Asia, developing the following tasks:

Collaborate with the Advisory GTB Global Head in coordination with the GTB Asia Head in the definition of the Data, Sustainability and Industry Advisory in GTB to the clients in Asia

Sustainability: 

- Identify and generate new sustainable GTB opportunities from the Advisory to clients in Asia. 

- Centralize the sustainable GTB pipeline, working closely with the Sustainable Finance team to approve the ESG angle of the transaction.

- Accountability of the Sustainable KPIs to be followed and reported to Headquarters.

- Monitoring of closed deals according to the procedures established under the sustainability angle of the transaction.

Data: 

- Lead data GTB projects in coordination with headquarters and according to the global strategy of Data for GTB and CIB.

- Generate analysis of internal and external GTB data in order to identify opportunities, gaps and commercial actions.

- Communicate and prioritize GTB Asia data needs to Engineering and Data Specialists

- Apply AI technology to GTB everydays tasks and/or analysis to improve time to market

Industry GTB Advisory:

- Offer a technical and financial transactional banking advisory to clients adapted to their financial and financing profile needs.

- Elaborate industrial analysis in order to offer holistic ad-hoc solutions,  based in an exhaustive data analysis, trends and industry specialization. Prepare the marketing material including product pitch material

- Stay updated regarding the global trends, new products, strategic initiatives and analyze market data to obtain conclusions and give an adequate Advisory to the clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree: Engineering, Business Administration, Economics.

• Languages: English (C2 level) and Spanish (not mandatory but positively considered).

• Previous Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in transaction banking and/or advisory in the financial market.

• Technical Knowledge: Sustainable Finance, Transaction Banking Products (Cash Mgt, Trade Finance, Working Capital, etc).

•  Soft Skills: team work, collaboration with different areas and geographies, communication skills, being client driven.
