As a Product and Privacy Counsel, you'll play a key role in maintaining Wix's legal compliance and navigating the complex legal landscape surrounding cutting-edge technology. You’ll work closely with product teams and provide legal guidance on a variety of commercial and compliance issues, with a strong focus on privacy and product compliance. You’ll also help address emerging legal challenges related to artificial intelligence, including AI-generated content and automated decision-making.

In your day-to-day, you will:  

• Be part of the Privacy and Product Compliance team  

• Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities  

• Take ownership of projects, driving them from start to finish  

• Provide ongoing legal counseling and guidance on a wide range of commercial issues and to product teams  

• Draft licenses, terms of use, contracts, and other legal documents  

• Address cutting-edge legal issues at the intersection of technology and law  

• Leverage cutting-edge AI tools, and occasionally contribute to building them, to enhance efficiency

At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Our work model is fully in person, with 5 days a week from our office. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level.

• 2–4 years of experience as an in-house counsel for internet companies or in a prominent law firm  

• Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations, licensing, and internet law (CIPP accreditation – an advantage)  

• Knowledge in compliance and understanding of international law  

• Experience drafting commercial and consulting agreements  

• Hands-on experience with AI tools (such as generative AI platforms, legal research AI, and contract review tools)  

• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking)  

• Experience building AI agents or automation tools (e.g., LLM-based workflows or agentic systems) – an advantage
