📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

Today we're looking for a Product Owner with a strong technical mindset who will join our Travel Sales Preparation team. Their vision is to facilitate providers' connectivity and supply innovative technology. Your mission is to Centralize, Optimize, and Industrialize the integration of external travel partners (APIs) onto the Veepee platform. You own the roadmap of our Travel connectivity engine.

🎯 TASKS:
Product Strategy & API Vision: You define the strategy for the connectivity product. You analyze external partners' technical capabilities (APIs) and define how they fit into the Veepee ecosystem to maximize business value. Translation & Specifications: You act as a translator between external partners and internal tech teams. You translate complex API documentation (XML/JSON specifications) into clear User Stories and technical requirements for your developers. Backlog Management: You prioritize the backlog by balancing pure business needs (new sales) with technical imperatives (refactoring, API updates, performance). Delivery & Quality: You ensure the "Definition of Done" involves technical validation. You ensure that the integration of new partners is robust, scalable, and tested (understanding of flow mechanics is key). Stakeholder Management: You manage the relationship with external technical partners (suppliers) and internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Member Service) to align expectations on the roadmap.

👉 MUST HAVE skills :
Education: BSc degree (Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with a strong Tech background). Experience: At least 5 years as a Product Owner, ideally on a technical product (API, Backend, SaaS integration) or in the Travel industry. Tech Affinity (Critical): You are not a developer, but you understand API concepts (REST vs SOAP, endpoints, error codes). You are not afraid to read technical documentation (XML/JSON) to write accurate User Stories. Agile Mastery: Strong knowledge of Scrum/Kanban and experience managing a backlog in JIRA. Communication: Ability to work across teams and with external partners. You can explain a technical blocker to a business person. Language: Fluent in French & English is mandatory. You will lead workshops with international partners.

👉 NICE TO HAVE skills:
Knowledge of the Travel Industry (GDS, OTA, Connectivity standards) is a huge plus. Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Postman) to understand what your developers are doing. KPI monitoring (Lead time, API performance metrics). Understanding of SQL for data analysis.
