Then we are looking for you: our new  SAFe Product Owner!

We have developed an emulation software product, CONTROLS, designed to optimize container terminal performance by integrating with the software solutions that continuously support actual container terminal operations.

What sets our product apart is it’s ability to adapt to the unique requirements of each customer.

Each terminal is truly unique, and our tailor made, configurable approach ensures a fit for purpose solution for every single client.

As a SAFe Product Owner, you’ll have the opportunity to work on this groundbreaking product and develop deep expertise in our field through a series of projects that will teach you how container terminals operate—including operating modes, equipment, and the systems used.

Within Konecranes we have adopted the SAFe Framework to support and streamline our development processes.

The SAFe Framework allows us to scale our organization and be able to adjust to the demand from our customers.

Our organization consists of 3 Scrum Teams, each with its own SAFe Product Owner.

The SAFe Product Owners collaborate in our Product Owner community to ensure the value delivered by the individual Scrum Teams ends up in our integrated solution.

We are looking for a enthusiastic and highly motivated candidate to join our Product Owner Community and work together with your team on value delivery towards our customers.

With high demands from our customers worldwide for stability, scalability, performance, and security, we need your analytical skills, collaborative mindset, and creative thinking to help us meet and exceed these expectations.

As a SAFe Product Owner, you will be:

• Responsible/Owner of the Scrum Team’s backlog.
• Supporting the Scrum Team to focus on the most valuable work.
• Part of Scrum Team acting as a servant leader.
• Responsible for maximizing the value of the Scrum Team’s work.
• Serving as a customer proxy, working with Project Managers, Chief Product Owner and other stakeholders.
• Running several projects that require direct interaction with customers
• Coordinating dependencies with other SAFe Product Owners during our weekly PO Community meeting.
• Have impact on direction of the product roadmap.
• Playing an active role in several SAFe ceremonies like the Sprint and System demo, and PI planning.

As a SAFe Product Owner, you should have:

• At least 3 years of experience in software development organizations.
• Experience in communicating with stakeholders.
• Ability to take key decisions regarding software and explain & defend them articulately.
• Previous experience in detecting dependencies and the impact they will have - strong analytical skills - see relationships in complex systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in challenging projects for our diverse international customers after completing an onboarding period.
• Develop a deep understanding of the product's functionality and technical specifications.
• Engage in both independent work and collaborative efforts within a vibrant scrum team.
• Create features and stories your Scrum Team can work on.
• Play a major role in the Program Increment planning by supporting your team and by working together with the other SAFe Product Owners and Chief Product Owner.
• Support your Scrum Team and ensure they understand the needs of our customer.
