Product Owner – Pricing Services (m/f/d)

The Pricing Services team works closely with the Marketplace, Search, Ancillaries and Booking Funnel teams to maximise revenue and offer customers affordable ticket prices. Each time a traveller searches for, books or cancels a trip with FlixBus, a pricing request is sent to our systems, which calculate the correct price based on numerous business inputs and manage capacity in real time.

As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in continuously evolving our pricing services for new market launches and complex new features. Our team is part of the Demand Division, Demand Management Stream, and you will also become a member of our Product Owner community. 

We're looking for a motivated and driven Product Owner - Pricing Services (m/f/d) in Berlin who will help us shape our team and have the most direct influence on our success. As part of a cross-functional development team, you will work in the complex and challenging domain of Dynamic Pricing and Revenue Management. You will be responsible for building scalable pricing services and tools used by multiple downstream systems.

About the Role

• Co-create high-value products and services with stakeholders and team

• Understand and communicate the WHY behind your products

• Seek to identify opportunities and stakeholders' needs

• Own, prioritize and refine the product backlog, in line with the strategic vision 

• Find pragmatic balance between speed and quality of engineering

• Define product vision and roadmap in collaboration with your team and stakeholders

• Drive data-driven decisions 

About You

• At least 3 years of proven experience as Product Owner or Product Manager working in a highly collaborative environment

• Experience in working on Platform/API products and services

• Very good stakeholder management and negotiation skills

• Technical understanding of message streaming, Kubernetes, HTTP APIs and AWS

• Knowledge of Revenue Management Systems architecture is an asset

• Experience and willingness to work with a high degree of both individual and team autonomy

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and lateral leadership skills
