Job Summary: As a Product Owner at NET CHECK Darmstadt, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and enhancement of our products, including benchmarking and optimization measurement solutions, crowdsourcing solutions, fixed broadband, and mobile application products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, delivery, operations, and sales, to ensure the successful delivery of products that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:
• Provide continuous support for product development activities, ensuring that all hardware, software, and firmware components function reliably and as intended. Proactively identify and coordinate replacements, updates, or corrective actions to maintain performance and stability.
• Take full ownership of product maintenance across all components used in various projects, including mobile network testing equipment utilized in drive testing, railway, and similar applications.
• Lead the gathering and refinement of requirements by engaging with internal stakeholders and end users, utilizing tools such as Jira Product Discovery to manage product and feature requests.
• Ensure the timely implementation of fixes, enhancements, and updates to maintain optimal product performance.
• Analyze customer and project-specific requirements to support the definition and execution of product strategies, including prototyping solutions using modern tools.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation covering product configurations, specifications, dependencies, and versioning to ensure transparency and support efficient troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely hardware procurement, while proactively identifying and communicating potential risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor product usage, customer feedback, and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Take ownership of corrective actions and enhancement initiatives to drive product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure alignment on product expectations, timelines, and deliverables, enabling successful project delivery, feature rollouts, and the availability of clear and comprehensive documentation, while maintaining effective communication and seamless coordination across all parties.

Your profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role, ideally within mobile network testing, telecommunications benchmarking, hardware, or IoT environments.
• Professional proficiency in English and native or at least B2-level proficiency in German.
• Solid understanding of public cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies and tools such as Productboard, ProductPlan, Jira Product Discovery, and Jira Software.
• Strong ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements and to prioritize features based on market demand and impact vs. effort analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Confident presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to stakeholders, including senior leadership and C-level executives.
