Job Overview
As the Head of Remittance Products, you will be fully responsible for the strategic planning, design, development, and end-to-end lifecycle management of our core remittance product line. You will deeply understand user pain points, the competitive landscape, and regulatory environments in the global remittance market. Leading cross-functional teams (engineering, design, compliance, marketing, operations, risk control), you will build industry-leading remittance products to achieve business growth, enhance user experience, and drive commercial success. You are not only a product expert but also a business driver and advocate for user value.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning:

Develop and continuously iterate the long-term vision, strategic roadmap, and annual/quarterly goals for remittance products.

Conduct in-depth market research, user studies, and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and potential risks.

Deeply understand the strengths, weaknesses, costs, and networks of different remittance channels (banks, card networks, local payment methods, digital currencies, etc.).

Stay updated on global financial regulations (e.g., AML, forex controls) to ensure compliance-first product development.

Product Definition and Execution:

Lead the design of product features, producing high-quality product requirement documents, user stories, and prototypes.

Define and monitor key product metrics, such as order conversion rate, transaction settlement time, success rate, customer satisfaction, and unit economics.

Manage and prioritize the product backlog, making informed trade-off decisions under resource constraints.

Lead close collaboration with R&D and testing teams to ensure timely and high-quality product launches.

User Experience and Growth:

Focus intensely on the end-to-end user journey, from the ease of the sending process to the recipient's experience, continuously optimizing for conversion and retention.

Design and implement growth strategies, including but not limited to new market expansion, user activation, and transaction frequency improvement.

Compliance, Risk Control, and Operations:

As the primary owner of the product, work closely with compliance and risk control teams to embed risk management rules and compliance requirements into product processes.

Optimize operational backend tools to enhance the efficiency of customer service and operations teams.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Effectively drive cross-functional teams, align goals, inspire team potential, and collectively achieve business outcomes.

Clearly communicate product progress, insights, and plans to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher, with 5+ years of experience in internet or fintech product management, including at least 2–3 years focused on cross-border payments, remittances, forex, or related financial domains.

Successfully led the end-to-end development or significant iterations of remittance/payment products from 0 to 1, with direct impact on key business metrics (e.g., transaction volume, revenue, cost).

Deep understanding of the remittance business chain (quoting, compliance review, clearing and settlement, fund routing, reconciliation, etc.).

Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills, with the ability to drive projects in complex and high-pressure environments.

Strong user empathy and commercial mindset.

Proficient written and verbal English skills (essential for international business).

Preferred:

Experience in a startup environment or building a remittance product from scratch.

PMP or Agile project management certification is a plus.
