Product Owner

As a Product Owner, you’ll lead large scale testing teams to build and validate customer acquisition experiences and the backend services that support credit-decision microservices, which determine which card products can be assigned to new applicants. These always-on systems must be highly resilient and stable, with 99.99% uptime requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technical product strategies for client initiatives.

• Lead testing teams focused on the validation of highly resilient applications.

• Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations and reports.

• Align product development efforts with business goals and customer requirements.

• Leverage agile methodologies to ensure high-quality, on-time product delivery.

Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner, with the ability to lead and run Scrum teams.

• Strong technical understanding, including a background in software engineering, platform design, and/or solutions architecture, is a strong plus.

• Exceptional communication skills for engaging effectively with internal and external teams/stakeholders.

• Experience in software testing, test automation, and tooling from a product management or engineering perspective.

• Adept at working outside of matrixed environments and managing beyond the initial project scope.

• Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to senior-level stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Agile product management/ownership.

• Experience working on cloud-based platforms, ideally focusing on AWS.

Minimum Degree Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is required
