Why This Job Is Exciting

At Innovatrics, we design biometric technologies used in secure onboarding, border control, elections, and digital ID across 80+ countries. As a Product Owner for Biometric Toolkits Solution, you will play a key role in ensuring our SDKs are easy to integrate, well-documented, and deliver real value to customers and partners.

You will sit at the intersection of engineering and R&D, product, sales, and customers, shaping how our biometric technologies are used in real-world deployments.

In your first months, you’ll explore:

• Deep dive into our biometric SDKs and components across mobile, server, and embedded environments
• Understand how our technologies are integrated by OEM partners, system integrators, and solution providers
• Learn typical solution architectures and use cases (e.g.mutli-purpose biometric devices, access control, handheld devices, PoS and Retail devices)
• Get familiar with developer experience challenges, integration patterns, and customer pain points
• Work closely with engineering and product management to understand the roadmap and delivery processes
• Understand collaboration with R&D teams (algorithms, AI models) and platform teams (shared infrastructure, runtime environments)
• Learn how dependencies between components affect product delivery and integration

As you settle into the role, you’ll start contributing by:

• Owning the product backlog for Biometric Toolkits and translating the roadmap into initiatives and epics
• Defining clear requirement specifications and acceptance criteria
• Improving SDK usability and developer experience based on real integration needs
• Creating and maintaining integration guides, documentation, and quick-start tutorials
• Owning demo applications and sample integrations used by sales and partners
• Supporting presales and solution teams with technical understanding and integration clarity
• Defining reference architectures and best practices for common use cases
• Collaborating closely with:
• R&D teams to ensure new algorithms are usable and integrable in SDKs
• Platform teams to align on shared components, APIs, and runtime environments

• Identifying and managing cross-team dependencies, ensuring smooth delivery across teams

Within your first year, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Become the go-to expert on integration and developer experience for biometric toolkits
• Shape how our SDKs are used across industries and customer segments
• Drive improvements that significantly reduce integration time and complexity
• Influence product decisions through real customer and integration insights
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to refine the roadmap based on market and customer feedback
• Coordinate across product, engineering, R&D, and platform teams to ensure aligned delivery
• Improve visibility and management of dependencies, risks, and cross-functional priorities
• Help scale our SDK adoption by improving documentation, demos, and onboarding experience.

You will contribute to the development and delivery of Biometric Toolkits by ensuring they are:

• Easy to integrate into real-world applications
• Well-documented and supported with clear examples
• Designed around real customer use cases and architectures
• Properly aligned with R&D outputs and platform capabilities

Your work will be instrumental in:

• Improving developer onboarding and SDK usability
• Creating reference solutions and integration patterns for partners
• Enabling sales and presales teams with demos and technical clarity
• Bridging the gap between customer needs, R&D innovation, and engineering delivery
• Ensuring smooth delivery by managing cross-functional dependencies and alignment

Bratislava, hybrid home-office (3+2)

About You

You are a technical, customer-oriented problem solver who understands how complex systems are integrated in real-world environments. You enjoy translating customer needs into clear product requirements and making technology easier to use.

You have experience in integration, presales, or solution engineering, and you care about developer experience.

You are comfortable working across teams and managing dependencies between R&D, platform, and solution engineering, ensuring solutions are not only innovative but also usable and deliverable. and usability.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
• Experience in integration engineering, presales / solution engineering or product ownership in technical products
• Ability to understand and describe system architectures and integration flows
• Experience working with SDKs, APIs, or developer platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to usability and clarity
• Experience with technical documentation, demos, or developer support
• Experience collaborating across multiple teams (engineering, R&D, platform)
• Ability to identify and manage dependencies, risks, and cross-functional priorities
• Familiarity with Agile development and backlog management

Nice to have:

• Experience with mobile (Android/iOS) or embedded platforms
• Basic understanding of AI/ML or biometric systems
• Experience working with developers or technical partners

Compensation

At Innovatrics, we offer competitive compensation based on your level, skills, and experience. Salary gross starts from 3000 EUR / Month. Additional benefits may include performance-based bonuses and personal development opportunities.
