Workfront & Fusion Product Owner – LSEG
Role Overview
The Workfront & Fusion Product Owner is responsible for the strategic direction, optimisation, and ongoing maturity of LSEG’s Workfront platform and its associated Fusion integrations. This role ensures Workfront operates as an effective, scalable, enterprise‑wide work management solution that supports operational efficiency, governance, and collaboration across the firm.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across across all LSEG to understand their needs, translate them into platform enhancements, and ensure Workfront and Fusion continue to evolve in alignment with LSEG’s strategic priorities. You will act as a subject‑matter expert and steward of the platform, supporting adoption, best practices, automation, and seamless integrations.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and maintain the Workfront & Fusion product roadmap, ensuring alignment with LSEG’s strategic and operational goals
• Lead platform governance, standardisation, and optimisation to increase maturity and consistency across teams
• Assess new features, capabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve the platform and user experience
• Oversee configuration of Workfront objects, including portfolios, projects, custom forms, fields, templates, dashboards, and permission models
• Maintain platform data quality, governance practices, and documentation
• Manage release cycles, testing, and rollout of new features and enhancements
• Design, build, and maintain Workfront Fusion integrations and automations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with LSEG standards
• Optimise workflows to reduce manual effort and improve cross‑system processes
• Partner with engineering and system owners to troubleshoot and refine integration performance
• Work closely with stakeholders across the firm to understand business needs, gather requirements, and define user stories
• Facilitate discovery workshops, solution design discussions, and ongoing platform communications
• Prioritise backlog items based on business value, capacity, and platform strategy
• Provide guidance, training, and best‑practice recommendations to end users and administrators
• Develop documentation and enablement materials to support adoption and consistency
• Support change management for new features, updates, and process improvements
Qualifications & Experience
• 7+ years of experience with Workfront (admin level) and/or Workfront Fusion or similar workflow/integration platforms .
• Experience in product ownership, platform management, or business systems roles
• Strong understanding of work management processes and cross‑functional collaboration
• Experience gathering requirements, translating business needs into user stories, and managing backlogs
• Experience working with integration technologies, iPaaS platforms, or API‑driven workflows
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment
Desirable experience (NOT Required):
• Adobe Creative Cloud & Document Cloud
• Marketing automation technologies such as Eloqua, PathFactory, or SendGrid
• Basic scripting (JavaScript or Python)
• Relational databases or SQL
