Your Mission:

At Nuvei, we are building the payment infrastructure that powers commerce around the world. As a Product Operations Specialist – Alternative Payment Methods (APM), your mission is to ensure the stability, scalability, and operational excellence of Nuvei’s global APM portfolio.

This role is the operational counterpart to product delivery. You will sit at the intersection of Product, R&D, Support, Integration teams, and external providers, ensuring that live APM products perform reliably, issues are resolved at root cause, and operational learnings continuously feedback into product improvements.

What you'll do:

• Operational Ownership & Production Excellence – Serve as an operational product owner for APMs, stepping in when Support or Integration teams cannot independently identify or resolve issues.
• Maintenance Backlog & Continuous Improvement – Translate operational needs into a maintenance backlog.
• Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving – Drive systemic fixes with R&D.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work with Support, Integration teams, R&D, Risk, Compliance, and Reconciliation teams.
• Provider & Scheme Collaboration – Collaborate with APM providers and schemes to drive solutions for live merchant challenges.
• Stakeholder Communication – Ensure transparency and alignment on priorities with stakeholders.
• Voice of the Merchant – Advocate for merchant experience and reliability.
• Product Management– Lead small projects as part of the APM product team.
• Platform Expertise – Maintain deep APM platform knowledge.

Requirements:
Who you are: Operations‑driven, structured, collaborative, and merchant‑focused.

What you bring:

• 1–2 years of experience in payments or fintech, is preferred or in a tech/saas company
• Exposure to supporting products, including assisting with operational issues and day‑to‑day product support.
• Familiarity with incident handling and backlog support, with the ability to track issues, prioritize fixes, and work with the team to resolve them.
