Product Manager - Video API (Video Media Services)

As Product Manager for Video Media Services, you’ll own these value-added services that extend video experiences and unlock new monetization opportunities The role is a great fit for an experienced product leader with a strong background in video communications who understands CPaaS systems and enjoys developing differentiated solutions

What you will do

• Define and lead the product roadmap for recording, broadcasting and server-side AI services

• Own and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with other Product Managers delivering competitive video solutions

• Partner with engineering to prioritize features, resolve technical trade-offs, and ensure developer-first product design.

• Define pricing and positioning for video media services.

• Deliver post-call intelligence features such as transcription, translation, and analysis.

• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, portfolio gaps and new product opportunities to guide differentiation.

• Drive global cross-functional teams including engineering, PM, marketing, customer success to develop new video product offerings

• Collaborate with Developer Relations and Marketing to drive product adoption.

What you will bring

• Strong technical background in video streaming and CPaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with server SDKs, APIs, and integration workflows.

• Knowledge of WebRTC and live streaming architectures.

• Comfort balancing scalability, performance, and cost trade-offs.

• Exposure to AI-driven video workflows

• Skills in translating developer needs into clear, actionable product requirements.

• Ability to analyze data, inform product decisions and measure success.

What is required for application

Required

• 4+ years in product management, ideally in video, media, or CPaaS.

• Proven track record building communications or media services products.

• Strong record of cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams on complex infrastructure

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Desired

• Experience with AI transcription, translation, or analytics tools.

• Background in developer-facing SaaS or platform products.

• Familiarity with CPaaS technologies, especially SIP and VoIP telephony.
