About the role
The Product Manager is responsible for defining, shaping, and delivering digital products that enhance Sigma Groups global event experiences, including major iGaming events. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience driving product strategy, prioritising features, and ensuring successful execution across cross‑functional teams.
A key part of the role is leading the introduction of AI tooling across the organisation and supporting the development of AI‑powered products and services that elevate attendee engagement, exhibitor value, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Road Mapping
Defines and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for event‑focused and iGaming‑related digital products.
Identifies opportunities to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and commercial performance.
Aligns product initiatives with business goals, market trends, and user needs.
Communicates product strategy and priorities to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements Gathering & Feature Definition
Conducts user research, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis to understand needs and pain points.
Translates insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Prioritises features using data‑driven frameworks and business impact assessments.
Collaborates with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive and engaging user experiences.
AI Tooling & AI‑Driven Product Innovation
Leads the introduction of AI tooling across product, marketing, operations, and engineering teams.
Identifies and delivers AI‑powered product features such as:
personalised event recommendations
AI‑driven matchmaking between attendees and exhibitors
automated content generation and summarisation
predictive analytics for attendee behaviour and event performance
intelligent search and discovery
Ensures AI features follow ethical, transparent, and responsible‑AI principles.
Cross‑Functional Delivery Leadership
Works closely with engineering, design, data, and event operations teams to deliver high‑quality product releases.
Facilitates sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross‑team coordination.
Ensures products are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
Supports go‑to‑market planning with marketing and commercial teams.
Events & iGaming Product Excellence
Develops products tailored to the unique needs of live events and iGaming audiences.
Supports features such as real‑time schedules, interactive maps, exhibitor dashboards, and engagement tools.
Ensures products can handle high‑traffic spikes during major events.
Collaborates with event teams to ensure digital readiness and seamless on‑site experiences.
Data‑Driven Decision Making
Uses analytics, experimentation, and user feedback to validate hypotheses and optimise product performance.
Defines and track KPIs to measure product success and inform future iterations.
Partners with data teams to ensure insights are actionable and accessible.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Acts as the primary point of contact for product initiatives across the organisation.
Communicates progress, risks, and decisions clearly to executives and cross‑functional teams.
Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including exhibitors and partners.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of product management principles and agile methodologies
Ability to translate complex problems into clear, actionable product requirements
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and AI‑powered product capabilities
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Experience working in fast‑paced, event‑driven environments
Understanding of iGaming audiences and digital engagement patterns is a plus
Preferred Experience
Educated to degree level in a numerate or technical discipline, Masters preferred.
5–7+ years of technical experience in product management, software development, UX, data, or related fields
2–3+ years of management or leadership experience, such as leading product teams or cross‑functional initiatives
Proven track record of delivering digital products from concept to launch
Experience introducing AI tooling or delivering AI‑enabled product features
Background working with event platforms, mobile apps, or iGaming systems
Experience collaborating with distributed or hybrid teams
