Job Description
About Uphold
Uphold is a financial technology company building modern infrastructure for on-chain payments, banking, and investments. We serve Consumer, Business, and Institutional customers globally and pioneered radical transparency by publishing assets and liabilities every 30 seconds on a public website.
Job Summary
We are looking for a customer-obsessed, junior-level Product Manager to own the strategy, execution, and roadmap for Enterprise Products with a strong focus on APIs, widgets and embedded partner experiences (UX). This role is ideal for a product manager who thinks in journeys (not just system flows), can communicate a clear narrative, and is excited to build products that make complex integration workflows feel simple — in a regulated environment.
You’ll work cross-functionally with design, engineering, compliance, and customer success to ship high-quality experiences that partners can trust and adopt.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Own and evolve the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Enterprise products that embed blockchain technology into third-party products.
Deeply understand partner pain points through data, support tickets, user interviews, and direct partner feedback, and translate those insights into product decisions.
Partner with design, engineering, compliance, and customer success to ship features that meaningfully improve the customer experience.
Use AI tools extensively to accelerate research, prioritization, documentation, and analysis — fluency in AI-assisted workflows is expected.
Utilize LLMs to generate prototype applications and experiences in order to accurately communicate your vision.
Write clear, concise product requirements and user stories that keep the customer at the center.
Define success metrics and instrumentation for widgets/embedded experiences; monitor performance and iterate post-launch.
Drive cross-functional alignment and clear stakeholder communication (problem framing, tradeoffs, sequencing, rollouts).
Ensure scalable, consistent solutions (component reuse, UX standards, API contracts, and documentation that reduces integration friction).
Required Qualifications and Skills
1–3 years of experience in product management, engineering, or customer service (or equivalent role with product ownership and feature delivery responsibility).
The ability to create user-facing product experiences (web/mobile/embedded) — ideally widgets, portals, or integration-heavy UX.
A genuine obsession with customer experience — you think in journeys, not system flows.
Strong written product craft: PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder communications.
Comfortable working with technical concepts: APIs, webhooks, authentication, integrations, and edge cases ( you should be able to code with an LLM’s help).
Ability to operate well in ambiguity with a strong bias toward action and iteration.
Strong attention to detail: At the end of your resume, add a section that describes an impactful embedded financial services experience and why you chose to include it.
Familiarity with product tools such as Jira, Notion, and Figma.
Bonus if you have
Interest or hands-on experience in crypto, Web3, or digital assets.
Experience at a bank, brokerage, SaaS company, or B2B fintech product (even if not in a product management role).
Experience in regulated environments (payments, banking, compliance-heavy workflows).
Experience building developer-facing platforms (APIs, SDKs, documentation, partner onboarding).
What We Offer
Innovation and impact: build at the intersection of modern finance, crypto, and enterprise integrations.
Ownership: real responsibility for outcomes and a roadmap that matters to the business.
Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with product design, platform engineering, compliance, and customer success.
Growth: mentorship, feedback, and opportunities to expand scope over time.
