Job Description
Join us as a Product Manager!
We're hiring a Product Manager to help shape digital initiatives in insurance and financial services. If you like working at the intersection of business and IT, managing stakeholders, and turning complex requirements into clear solutions, this role is for you.
Your future tasks:
Owning end-to-end business specifications for complex, multi-system initiatives in insurance and finance from scope and terminology to interfaces, process flows, and exception handling
Working with a broad set of business and IT stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, IT Security, Risk, Finance, Data Privacy, IT Architecture, and business areas like Life, Motor, or Premium Accounting)
Turning ambiguous, multi-source input into a single, consistent specification including running mixed business–IT workshops to elicit requirements and resolve conflicts
Designing multi-system integrations and AI-based automation solutions (e.g., Exchange, EDMS, BürOffice, OPUS, ARIA, EPDB, OCT, Partner Portal, WebBÜRO intent recognition, automated responses, system-of-record lookups)
Coordinating release scope and dependencies across parallel releases, and managing the full specification approval cycle across 15+ organizational areas
Managing tickets in Jira, preparing status reports and documentation, and supporting solution design with business and IT recommendations
What we expect from You:
Relevant experience as a product manager, business analyst, or consultant in insurance, finance, or related sectors
Experience with complex, cross-functional projects consulting background is a plus
Proven track record of independently producing complex, cross-system business specifications end-to-end from scope definition and terminology through interface- and NFR-level detail
Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
Daily use of ticketing systems
Professional preparation of specifications, user stories, and documentation
Independence, precision, and a problem-solving mindset
Strong organizational skills and effective prioritization
Fluent Hungarian and intermediate-level professional English communication
Contractor setup preferred, but we're flexible and open to employment as well
What we offer to You:
Work on a MacBook or Lenovo and pick the gadgets that suit you best 👨💻
Enjoy a hybrid setup with 1–2 days in our Budapest office (in the City Centre near Kálvin tér) — or more flexibility if you’re not based in Budapest. In addition, you can use 10 “Work From Anywhere” days per year 🌍
We love spending time together: wine tastings, brunches, movie nights with pizza & beer, board game evenings, cocktail nights, and celebrating milestones with parties 🎉
We value loyalty: +1 vacation day after 2 years, +2 after 5 years 🌴
And of course, enjoy free snacks and drinks in the kitchen (Túró Rudi, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, Coca-Cola, etc.) ☕️🍫🍇
