About the Team 

Our team of 30 colleagues has been the driving force for innovation in the area of document automation within the PwC network.

The team operates a platform that is being used in almost 50 countries, will soon provide the services to the whole PwC Network globally and expand to external markets. 

About your Manager 

Tomas as a Partner in PwC leads the whole Document Automation team and cooperates with 4 team managers to create and execute our strategy. Tomas is passionate about team vision and delivering high services to our internal and external clients. He enjoys all outdoor sport activities, in particular cycling and cross-country skiing. 

Job Description & Summary

Application Planning and Deployment:

• Lead the planning and deployment of software application developed by a vendor 

• Collaborate with the vendor team to ensure adherence to application standards, best practices, and project timelines.

• Ensure QA of each release and oversee the implementation of updates, ensuring a minimal disruption to business operations. 

 
Team Leadership: 

• Manage a team of QA and application specialists and provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. 
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. 

Project Management: 

• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of projects.

 
Stakeholder Collaboration: 

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and discuss with vendor application can meet their needs.

• Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into understandable terms.

​Documentation: 

• Ensure team maintains documentation for applications, including technical specifications, user manuals, and change logs. 

• Innovation and Continuous Improvement:  implement innovation and  continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our service offering as well as efficiency and effectiveness of application management processes. 

Requirements of the Role 

• Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years of which min. 4 years progressive roles involving IT products. 

• Direct experience with team leadership. 

• Experience in the area of QA of IT product is a must. 

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders. 

• Innovative thinking and proactive collaboration with our vendor on strategic application development, AI first mindset.

• Experience with managing external suppliers and product deployment processes. 

• Czech & English language knowledge on professional level.
