Private asset markets (PE, Private Credit, VC, Real Estate) have 10x to 9.8T in AUM over the past decade and are projected to grow to $17T in the next five years. However, digital infrastructure has not kept pace, with most of the market operating predominantly in error-prone, internal-only software solutions.

PactFi provides secure, end-to-end, operational infrastructure for managing complex private credit transactions. Our web-based application brings together all parties involved in such a transaction to more efficiently allocate capital, complete KYC, share documents, manage funds flow, and more. The platform is secured to a bank-grade standard, and we have received our SOC 2 Type 2 attestation.

PactFi was developed in close partnership with two of the industry's largest players, both of whom represent the top 3 players in the private credit space by both size (AUM) and deal activity.

Job Description

We've proven out our flagship product offering in the market and are currently building out several other core offerings. The result of these tools being used in concert is a strong demand for API connectivity. We are looking for a technical Product Manager who will work closely with our clients/prospects and engineering teams as we seek to enable seamless data flow in/out of our platform. As the company enters this crucial growth period with an influx of usage, we see the role as an opportunity to take ownership of a first-of-its-kind product set and to deliver meaningful change and efficiency to the private asset market.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and prospects to understand where API connectivity to our application is needed.

• Prioritize endpoint builds according to holistic ROI to clients and to PactFi.

• Work with engineering team to build and maintain API endpoints on the roadmap.

• Develop implementation plans for clients to connect to various endpoints and ensure successful rollout.

• Serve as main point of contact/liaison with client teams as it pertains to integrations/API.

• Identify market gaps/opportunities for product expansion.

• Manage internal processes spanning across development and QA.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of work experience.

• Background in development/engineering at a financial institution. Basic knowledge of corporate finance, direct lending, private equity, capital markets, etc. is a plus.

• Process-oriented and highly organized with strong verbal/written communication skills.

• Excels at prioritizing, planning, and executing in a fast-paced and fluid environment.

• Keen, logic-driven problem solver with the ability to translate client feedback into thoughtful, efficient product solutions.

• Eager to work at a small startup.
