Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain modern, responsive full-stack web applications
• Translate user flows and designs into robust, scalable code
• Collaborate with product, design, and AI/ML teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Integrate front-end interfaces with backend APIs and AI/ML model serving infrastructure
• Ensure high performance, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility
• Contribute to shared component libraries and internal design systems
• Define and improve development workflows, coding standards, and best practices
• Monitor and improve system performance, observability, and reliability

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience as a full-stack or front-end/backend engineer
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, FastAPI, Node.js)
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying production-grade web applications
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS (including SCSS) and responsive UI development
• Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and integration
• Familiarity with front-end testing tools, animation libraries, or data visualization frameworks
• Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and agile development
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have:
• Experience serving large language models or working with AI/ML model inference infrastructure
• Familiarity with AI model serving frameworks such as Triton Inference Server, HuggingFace Transformers/Spaces, or Gradio
• Prior work with GPU-accelerated tools (e.g., CUDA, cuDNN, Triton)
• Experience developing tools or interfaces for scientific, medical, or biological data
• Knowledge of bioinformatics tools or biological data modalities (e.g., genomic, proteomic, single-cell)
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Understanding of FAIR data principles and reproducible research workflows
